The 22 best spots for ramen in Mexico City (2024)

Koku is a Japanese restaurant with Mexican-inspired dishes. They offer sushi rolls, sashimi, and tempura-battered shrimp and veggies. Some of the dishes are specific to Japan while others have a Mexican influence.

A real great place , I regret not to have found it before during my stay , basically everything is perfect to start with an amazing service , qualitative and super fast , the food is just out of this world! French products, row materials and put together with sophistication- and the place is just Fashin Japanese which make you feel at ease at the first time . The quality price is just amazing , honestly the place to go in Mexico City ! Congratulations to all the team involved, you are providing an excellent job , well done !

We liked the food very much and the space is large, well decorated and very pleasant. We found the prices consistent with the food and the waiters have efficient service and their treatment is friendly and attentive. They are one of the places you want to return to.The only drawback is that that day there was no water in the bathrooms and with the drinks we consumed, it was not easy ☺️

If I have the chance, I'll definitely be back! I had the spicy salmon poke bowl, absolutely delicious. Berry mezcal drink is fantastic. 10/10 would recommend if you need a break from all the tacos 😅

Great place for Japanese food. The Maki with corn Tempura en Callo de Hacha us a must. Also, this could be an excellent place for a date. Ask for a table in the back of the restaurant. The mood with the lights helps.

As a long-time patron of Koku Condesa, I'm pleased to report the food at Koku Lerma is just as tasty and the vibes even better. The tantan ramen and tofutonas salad are 10 / 10. No notes.

I went because of a recommendation online and I liked it, the quality of the ingredients is good, we ordered a meat Gyosas, some Spicy cones and the corn tripe roll, drink some calpys, everything was delicious. As for prices, it is average, the only thing that is not August was with the cones, it is the same price as a roll and it is much less content, but well the flavor was delicious. The service is good, but since there are many people, it takes them a while to respond. The wait time for food is decent. The bathrooms are mixed and it is terribly hot.The thing is that even though it takes a while, they are always on the lookout.

One of the few actually good meals we had in CDMX after all the hype of this city as a foodie town. The kimchi burrata was amazing and very unique as were the curry dumplings. The salmon poke bowl was also delicious (but definitely not spicy enough so I asked for more pepper). Very cool ambiance and great service.

It’s sometimes difficult to find good more authentic Japanese/Asian food in CDMX. This restaurant does not disappoint. I had the coconut ramen, edamame, and jasmine tea. Perfect afternoon meal.

Outstanding. Service, atmosphere, and food were all excellent. Poke, sushi, sashimi, rice, chicken, etc... all very good. Servers were attentive and helpful.

First time I went food was pretty good - peppers and Kimchi Udon Buta. But the second time I went food was yuck. Pollo Karrage was ok but the sauce was not very good. The Chashumen was absolutely disgusting. It tasted fishy and there were 6 pieces of pork of which 4 were completely inedible. I probably won’t come back but again my first experience was good.

La comida súper deliciosa y el tiempo de espera es corto apesar que el restaurante estaba lleno, definitivamente es recomendable.(Translated by Google)The QR is difficult to read since many are unpainted and when I asked for a physical menu they didn't have it, which discouraged me a little. The waiters can't keep up with all the tables and you have to hunt for them, only one girl at the entrance with glasses who is super friendly and super attentive, she even gave me suggestions for dishes and drinks, I congratulate her for her work. The food is super delicious and the wait time is short even though the restaurant was full, it is definitely recommended.

One of my favorite Japanese cuisine restaurants. The place is nicely located, has a very nice interior space and the service is always great. Anything you order regarding food and drinks will be great! Definitely recommended!

A mi amiga y a mí tardaron 40 minutos aprox. en llevarnos nuestra comida.(Translated by Google)The food tastes good and, although some dishes are a little expensive, it is worth it for the preparation. I went with a friend who has studied Japanese culture and also had a good opinion of the food.We ordered calpis to drink, you have the option of drinking it with natural or mineral water; a vegetarian sushi roll (comes with ginger and wasabi) and I ordered a Tom Sum ramen, the only thing I didn't like was that the shrimp came with everything and "shell" and I didn't have another plate to leave it on.The only disadvantage is that the service is a little slow, but it is understandable since there are many diners. It took my friend and me approximately 40 minutes. in bringing us our food.

Lovely place. Food is great and atmosphere wonderful (sometimes music can be a bit loud, though). The sushi and the bowls are fantastic. The tacos are also great.Definitively try the shrimp gyozas and the shish*to peppers as starters!Santos is a great waiter, friendly and efficient.I'm general, I would recommend. Is not cheap, but it won't break the bank. Of you want to save money, skip the drinks or just order a beer.

So I only ordered the tuna taco (tocadito) the first time but it was a such a great execution of Asian-Mexican cuisine. Costly, small but superb! The second time I went I ordered the upon soup with shrimp and vegetable tempura. This meal I was disappointed in. It literally had NO flavor. It tasted like water, noodles and crusted vegetables for high cost. I had to dump so much soy sauce and Sriracha in it for some flavor. Also ordered the coctele with sake and it tasted like water with sugar at the bottom - want sure still to this day of it had alcohol.Overall, excellent restaurant design/ambiance and service is outstanding but the food is a miss for me.

Very good service, very friendly, the food is very good, the specialty seems to be sushi 🍣 because you can see the quality and good flavor in each ingredient, the ramen needed to be hotter because a few minutes after it was served it was already cold but in general I give the ramen an 8, the seasoned shrimp were very good, the only thing that was bad was the brownie that was very dry and you could hardly taste the chocolate. The place is very beautiful and lends itself to having a good time as a couple or with friends.

Loved it! The atmosphere was great and the food someone I've not experienced before. In a good way.

3 blocks from the Angel of Independence, almost hidden behind the US embassy in Mexico city, Boku provides super fresh sushi with good quality wine in a modern live ambient. It's definitely a recommended stop in CDMX.

Surprised that this place is rated so highly, very overpriced for the portions, ordered two poke bowls to go, the Salmon and Gyudon. Rice seemed a little old, but otherwise tasty. Ambiance and service was fine for the brief time I was there. You can probably find a better value at a different restaurant.

Por la atención-calidad y precio de comida, me doy por bien servida.(Translated by Google)A place that invites you to stop by, it has a somewhat mysterious atmosphere. The area I chose was in the garden, it had just rained and I thought it was the best option. They give you enough time to order in case you have questions about the dishes. If you are hungry or accompanied, I suggest ordering appetizers or more dishes, for example the ramen is generous in size and is easy to fill up.The terikayi ramen have good flavor and portion. The drinks list is also interesting, but there was no drink during the week, so I didn't try anything. The only detail that I didn't like was the bathroom. It's true that the bathroom says more about who uses it, but a can full of papers is the responsibility of the establishment. I don't know if they share it with the restaurant next door, but it would be important to take it into account. For the attention, quality and price of the food, I consider myself well served.

Good quality, good services and fantastic atmosphere! The place has a “patio” at the end of the restaurant, with nice vibes and good music. Also lichee martini co*cktail was really good!

We went there attracted by good google maps rating and convenient location next to our hotel at CDMX.The atmosphere is cool and loved outdoor seating area. The service was impeccable and timings perfect. However our expectations on the food were definitely not met. Given the prices I was expecting better sushi quality. Just a fair meal.

10/10(Translated by Google)We only had one small problem trying to read the QR code on the menu. But the waiters treated us very kindly. They were quick to arrange the chairs, the additional tables for some friends who arrived later. And the packages are ideal for eating much more than ramen, because they give you rice, empanadas and even pork rinds; at least in the package I ordered. They also have Japanese beers and calpis.I would gladly return to this place. 10/10

The most delish fusion of foods. Right next to the US Embassy and Reforma, this places offers some of the best sushi I’ve had in the city. Their menu is available in English and Spanish, if you need a bit of help. We visited on a Saturday evening so it was a tad busy. We did wait a couple of minutes just to get their menu, but once we were settled our server Mauricio took great care of us. The atmosphere, at night, is really remarkable. High recommendation!
