Disney's magical film arrives just in time for Christmas.
There's a brand-new arrival on Disney+ just in time for the holidays, as the magical Encanto is available to watch now for all subscribers.
Encanto is Disney's latest film and was only released in cinemas last month – so making it available just in time for Christmas is a great treat if you and your family are looking for something new to watch over the holidays.
Set in the mountains of Colombia, The Madrigals (an extraordinary family) live in a magical place called the Encanto, which has blessed every child in the family with magical abilities. All except one child, Mirabel, who doesn't have the gift of super strength or the power to create instant flower gardens like the others.

When the magic surrounding the Encanto is threatened, Mirabel realises that despite not having a magical gift, she may just be the family's last hope in saving everyone.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Stephanie Beatriz voices Mirabel, while other stars include Diane Guerrero (Orange is the New Black), John Leguizamo (Ice Age) and Jessica Darrow – the film also features original music from award-winning composer Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton, Moana).
Disney's Encanto is out now on Disney+ for all subscribers – if you're not already subscribed, you can sign up for £7.99 a month or £79.90 for a full year.
There's no free trial available for Disney+, but you may be able to save some money if your mobile network is O2, as it offers six months of Disney+ free for upgrading and new customers via its Extras.
If you're with O2 but aren't looking to upgrade, you can still add Disney+ to your plan and the phone network will give you £2 off of your bill every month.
Speaking to Digital Spy about Encanto, Beatriz said: "The coolest thing about the script is that it does take these turns that I'm not sure that I've ever seen before in a Disney film."

Disney+ is the home of every Disney and Pixar film available, as well as all Marvel and Star Wars content, including the recent Hawkeye series and the upcoming Star Wars series The Book of Boba Fett.
The streaming platform also has every Home Alone film, The Muppet Christmas Carol, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Santa Clause and more, if you were looking to watch some Christmas favourites over the holidays.
