i came here after receiving bad care at another vet. i told them all about the situation and they seemed appalled at what happened there.i brought my dog in with 2 issues, a cyst that might need removal and a skin condition. after a cursory exam for the skin condition they took him back for a biopsy on the cysts(there were 2). the doctor then presribed a cream to treat the skin condition topically, and a bill that ranged from 600 to 1200 dollars for the cyst removal.first of all i realize there can be a bit of variance in a procedure of this nature....but this estimate was a bit ridiculous, but this isnt even the issue. i completely shrugged off the estimate, it wasnt a real issue at that point.the issue is about a week later it was apparent that while the cream did help some, the skin condition was far too widespread to be treated by a tiny tube of cream. i called back in and was told the doctor was on vacation and i would have to come back in for another visit. i asked why they didnt just call her and was all but laughed at. obviously the vets down time was far more important than my dogs health. there is more to this story, but im going to leave it at this, i dont really need to mudsling.so in the end if my opinion matters at all i would advise you to go elsewhere. if you need a shot or two or some flea meds they may do ok, but if your dog ever really needs much more serious care your going to be met with people who care more about the almighty dollar than your pet.as a side note when i had my dogs records transferred they didnt even ask why, it honestly seemed like they are used to people leaving them. I can not say enough good about Dr Rogers. Approximately one year ago I adopted a shelter dog. At that time I was looking for a new vet. My friend mentioned Dr Rogers and how much her entire family loved him. I'm so glad that I chose Dr Rogers to be my new dog's vet. My little friend recently became very ill. Dr Rogers boarded him for almost an entire week running tests, IV's because of dehydration and pain therapy. He never gave me false hope, but gave me support, and numerous phone calls. My little Murphy is now on his way to recovery, thanks to the most amazing veterinarian and staff I have ever met. Read Less

In 30 years I have never had a better vet. Dr. Rogers has been fantastic. Everyone in my family now takes their pets to see Dr. Rogers at Village Veterinary Clinic. He is so gentle and kind with the animals and explains everything very well so we understand. We also think his fees are reasonable and never padded. He came out on Mother's day for an emergency for my Corgi and really was the best! Read Less
